We're kept pretty busy designing for other people so it's been in the works for longer than we care to remember but, at last, we're extremely pleased (and relieved) to be able to launch our very own, brand new website. Ta-daa!
For a while now we've wanted more space to show off our ever-expanding portfolio – now we've got that, and loads more to boot. There are still a few loose ends to tie-up (Do get in touch if you find a broken link!) but we love it. Have a look around and let us know what you reckon.
Some time back we designed a website for specialist arts school, College High; so when they recently became an Academy, they returned to us for a site revamp.
Following a successful beta testing phase just before the end of term, the new site for North Birmingham Academy is up and running, ready for the launch-proper at the start of the new academic year: nbacademy.org.uk
It's all about ukuleles! We've just put the finishing touches to an identity for the Hull Ukulele Group (HUG), a bunch of uke enthusiasts who can turn their dexterous hands to just about every genre of music and who play gigs in all manner of places; including street festivals, a burlesque night and on top of a narrow boat.
Why the bug? It's a very loose interpretation of a flea. Why a flea? Because 'ukulele' means 'jumping flea' in Hawaiian. Simple.
For the sixth year running, Supercool have worked with the Fashion Retail Management (FRM) department at Birmingham City University on their graduate showcase.
Having designed and built the website for 2010's FRM graduates – www.diversity2010.com – we thought it might be useful and interesting for prospective FRM students to have access to an archive of previous showcases; the collected works of those who've gone before them. So, we've built it and it's called FRM Anthology.
