Optima Housing Association created a brand new financial product in order to help people, who might otherwise find it difficult, onto the property ladder.
Essentially it’s a way of trying a home before deciding to buy, so you can keep your options open and only buy if, and when, it's right for you. And with no sneaky catches or huge payments in the future either, it's clever stuff.
Named Flexibuy, by Giraffe Communications who we worked with on the project, we developed the strapline the newest, smartest way to buy a home; defining the Flexibuy tone of voice – informative, uncomplicated and understandable.
We also created the brand image; designing a logo, leaflets, invites, press adverts, billboards and other signage for the big launch, which went brilliantly and an apparently unprecedented number of people attended.
The launch event was such a huge success that there was another Open House the next weekend.
(This successful pilot project precede the government's national HomeBuy scheme by approximately two years.)
