Intercity are one of Europe’s largest network-independent telecommunications companies. They came to Supercool for help developing their visual identity and customer-facing website.
Initially our work involved rationalising brand assets and providing a clear, usable framework for the identity; developing a basic guidelines document for the UK and European offices' marketing departments.
Once those foundations were in place, we moved on to designing and developing a completely new website, with added functionality as well as a new look which more accurately represents the company's aims and ambitions.
The new site provides a detailed catalogue of Intercity's products and services, and acts as a portal for existing customers to login to a variety of control panels. It also provides improved controls for the marketing team to create and manage online campaigns.
There is also a detailed knowledge-base section that will become a comprehensive resource for all of the company’s hardware and solutions information.
A key goal for the site was to deliver a more focused 'sales funnel' from landing pages through to submission of product enquiries. This has been achieved by enquiries being driven through the Solution Builder; an interactive page where users highlight their ‘communication challenges’ and help Intercity better identify customer needs, enabling them to tailor each customer's solution to be the perfect fit.
