Mac Projects
An interior fit-out company, Mac Projects create interiors for commercial clients such as Barclays, Allied Irish and the BBC.
They approached us when they decided to add more emphasis to their design and project management departments.
So, the challenge with this identity was to create something that would sit as comfortably at a corporate level as it would on-site.
We designed an icon, constructed from overlapping, translucent shapes which gives a three-dimensional look to the logo, referencing the work Mac Projects do. The word mark uses a clean, modern sans serif which, despite being uppercase, is highly legible.
The colour palette helps to create the distinction between corporate and on-site materials when inverted – if placed on white, it's crisp and sophisticated; on green it becomes bold and construction-like. The same distinctive branding, but suitable for two very different audiences.
