Community Games
A Cultural Olympiad initiative, Community Games events have been devised to bring communities together through sporting and cultural activities.
It was inspired by the unique Olympic heritage of the West Midlands, the Wenlock Olympian Games which have been held annually in Shropshire since 1850 and were the inspiration behind the modern Olympic movement.
The first Community Games events were piloted in several locations across the West Midlands in 2009, with Community Games events 'proper' taking place in the lead-up to London 2012.
We created the Community Games brand and designed a swathe of print materials to resemble a friendly local festival; a welcoming, healthy and fun event that's for everyone.
