Our second Spektrix-integrated website launch of the fortnight is for performing arts centre Stratford Circus in East London.
Stratford Circus has a strong focus on artistic excellence and education, and an emphasis on being a hub for the local community. They host performances and classes/workshops in all manner of art forms, including theatre, dance, music, literature and – as their name suggests – circus.
Their old website wasn't quite working hard enough for them and was awkward to update so, having seen our work for mac birmingham (which also uses Spektrix), Stratford Circus approached us to help them create a much simpler website – which we've done.
The new site is bright and bold in terms of design, with clear and understandable navigation, and the new content management system makes it really easy for the team at Stratford Circus to update, alter and add content.
As well as highlighting and promoting performances and classes, there's added emphasis on the venue's 300-seat auditorium, studio theatre, dance studio, boardroom and meeting rooms – all of which are available to hire.
And as the new website is both responsive and optimised for different devices, it works just as beautifully and smoothly on a smartphone or tablet as it does on a desktop computer.
