Designing a look for outdoor spectacular Wings of Desire (featuring circus acrobatics, dance, architectural projections and Goldie) was a big challenge – the identity had to be completed before the production itself had even been created.

We knew it would take place at night though, so created a dark, moody background with subtley lit Town Hall to set-off a 'light-writing' logo. Wings of Desire continues tonight and tomorrow, 9.30pm, Victoria Square, Birmingham. It's excellent, free and not to be missed.
