Supercool’s bright and cheerful website for UCE’s Fashion Retail Management graduates was launched to great acclaim at the University’s end of year show. The event (in association with Harvey Nichols) was a huge success, as was the website itself – many potential employers who viewed the site have since been in contact with graduates, with a thoroughly impressive 77% being offered jobs within two months of graduating. Fantastic news – well done everybody!

Shirley-based accountants Thomas and Young came
to Supercool in search of a website redesign, which they got ... along with a whole new brand! The new identity is up-to-date, professional and distinctive, and the clever (though we say so ourselves) use of the plus symbol references both the company’s line of work, as well as their forward-looking, inclusive and positive way of working. We’re now designing a suite of stationery that shows off their brand new look.

The Creative Compass project is the part of an EU-funded initiative about the pioneering journeys made by a number of local people into the creative industries. Supercool were asked to help bring the brand to life by developing an identity and website. As a local creative company we think it’s really important to help build the reputation of Birmingham as a creative city, and encourage people to be proud of and celebrate their successes; which is what Creative Compass is all about.

With its origins in New York City, Likemind was started as an informal gathering held at a local coffee house, where likeminded people could talk about the goings-on in business, the arts, education – anything really – in and around their city. There are now more than 30 of these monthly events held across the globe, with Birmingham’s Likemind get together co-hosted by yours truly, Supercool.

We’re meeting up next on Friday 21st September, from 8am (for an hour or so) at the charming Hudson’s Coffee House, Corporation Street, Birmingham.
