Audiences Central

After working with them on a number of jobs for their member organisations, Audiences Central (the audience development agency for the West Midlands) asked Supercool to look at refreshing their own brand.

The style we developed has been applied to a swathe of literature, including the Membership and Marketing Services brochures, and employs the previously under-used ‘character’ graphic within simple yet distinctive patterns – different patterns for different documents.

This new look was the first stage, closely followed by a thoughtful restructuring of content. Using a simple, consistent layout with carefully planned typography means it’s now quicker and easier for people to find what they’re looking for. This user-friendliness is especially important for the newly structured membership packages, to ensure the many benefits of each option are conveyed as plainly and as clearly as possible.

We’ve also designed and built Audiences Central a templated email system which allows them to send out custom-designed, Audiences Central-branded HTML emails to their various databases.

We set up six templates (for their different newsletters) which they can add content to, test and send out themselves. They get rather handy delivery reports for each campaign to boot. Clever, efficient and extremely useful – our sort of job!
