HTML

Hypertext Markup Language – the most common way (at present) for information to be displayed on the internet. As the name suggests, html uses a process of "marking up" information with a series of standard HTML tags. <p>For instance the "P" tags around this sentence would tell the browser that this is a paragraph (The browser would normally also remove the tags from view). Paragraphs, like all other tags can then be styled using CSS</p>
